G’day Mr Bip, I caught a comment from you to ULY before Christmas about you hosting The Travelling Torchbug and taking him to the Melbourne GP and a car show. Do you still plan to do so? I’m about to send it to Sydney next week to Small Scale Sydney(LaLD), he can have it back down to Vic in time for the GP if that’s still your plan?

Cool! So the GP is on your calendar still? It’s late March right?
Oh and how’s life in the ‘pants department’?
Did you ever change the sign?

yep late March , still going , i’d have to be dead not to be there (given how some of our family are dropping off the perch in the last 6 months you never know , i too might be gone , i say this as my last uncle died during the week , 89yo)
‘pants’ dept is a bit quiet , our boss got rid of Subaru , so we now only have Holden and Audi. , no the is sign still there.

Ok cool. That will be awesome having TTB at the GP. There’s still time to try and solicit a pit pass or something for TTB and his entourage, just saying... There has to be some GP contacts via Jalopnik/Oppo Shirley? ;) Worth a try, if I was going myself and taking TTB I’d be giving it a shot. Traveling Torchbug is an international guest FFS! He’s probably never going to have the chance again in OZ! Find some strings and pull the crap out of them man!!!!!
.
Then find some more and do it again!
Oh man sorry to hear about your loss(es). Same thing in my circle. it’s that time of life I guess.
I hope the dept picks up then. Is Subaru missed or a relief?
If your ever leaving the place you MUST do the sign modification! (And take pictures to post!) Remember? Parts = Pants after a strategic Sharpie swipe. ;)

Subaru will not be missed , i’m sick of printing quotes for cars that need head gaskets.
all that have died in our family have been 90 or more (Bob who was 89 was just 6 weeks shy of 90 , had dementia , so it was a relief that he’d died tbh)
i have no contacts with the GP sadly?
i’ll give it a crack though.
